Tan Family holiday to the Middle East (December 2007)

We spent 2 wonderful weeks in Dubai (United Arab Emirates) and Muscat (Oman). James was a dream toddler - he slept and fed really well, was excellent on all the flights, and thoroughly enjoyed the trip too (especially all the swimming!). The weather was beautiful in both countries, mostly reaching mid 20s during the day. You can see from our pictures that Dubai is a vastly different city compared to Muscat, be it in terms of physical geography, modernisation, amount of activity, types of attractions, and so on.
