Baby James Tan An Jie . . . . . . . . . . 0 to 1 month

James Tan An Jie arrived safely on 1 July at 1228pm. He weighed 3.715 kg (8.3 lbs) and measured 51.5cm long. He is very healthy and gave a hearty cry to announce his arrival to this world.

Because it was an emergency caeserean section, James had to be put in the special care nursery for a few hours for a dose of oxygen.

He is doing very well now - hardly surprising considering he takes after Daddy in terms of his size (and appetite!). At 2 weeks old, he weighed a whopping 4.0kg.

How did we arrive at his name? "An Jie" was picked by Mummy - it means peaceful and safe, and an outstanding person. "James" was picked by Daddy- a regal name, don't you think?
